What to do while you wait
A few simple steps can protect your tooth before you reach us. This is general first-aid guidance, not a diagnosis, so call us for advice specific to you.
Knocked-out tooth
Hold it by the crown, not the root. If you can, gently place it back in the socket and bite on a clean cloth. If not, keep it in milk and call us straight away.
Toothache
Rinse with warm salty water and take your usual pain relief as directed on the packet. Ease off very hot or cold food and drink.
Broken or chipped tooth
Keep any pieces, rinse with warm water, and hold a cold compress against your cheek to settle swelling.
Lost filling or crown
Keep the crown if you have it, avoid chewing on that side, and call us to arrange a repair.
Swelling or abscess
Swelling can be a sign of infection, so call us promptly and we'll assess you.

We hold time aside for urgent cases. Call us and we’ll advise the soonest available appointment for your situation. We’re open six days a week, with Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings to 7pm for times that fit around work and school.

Any dental problem causing pain, bleeding or swelling, or that has damaged a tooth. Toothache, a knocked-out or broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, and abscesses are all worth a call. If you’re unsure, phone us and we’ll help you decide.
Do you see patients who aren’t regulars?
Yes. You don’t need to be an existing patient. New patients of all ages are welcome.
Can you see children in an emergency?
Yes. We treat children as well as adults, with a gentle approach for younger patients.
How much will it cost?
It depends on what’s needed, so we assess you first and talk you through your options before any treatment goes ahead. Call us for an assessment. We process health fund rebates on the spot with HICAPS.
