Meet Our Team

Dr Simeon Hunter graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 1993 and brings over 32 years of clinical experience to his role at Winthrop. His career has been shaped by decades of practice in Mandurah, where he developed a reputation for dependable, patient‑centred care and contributed significantly to the local dental community.

With experience mentoring graduate dentists and a broad skill set across all areas of general dentistry, Dr Hunter is committed to delivering high‑quality treatment and supporting patients in achieving long‑term oral health.

He maintains an active focus on professional development, regularly completing advanced courses and staying current through journals, webinars and podcasts. His practice reflects the latest evidence‑based techniques and a dedication to continual improvement.

Areas of special interest:

• Restorative treatments to repair and strengthen teeth
• Diagnosis and management of gum and bone disease
• Root canal therapy to preserve natural teeth
• Full‑mouth reconstruction, including crowns, bridges and implant‑based solutions, with conventional denture fabrication provided as needed

Outside dentistry, Dr Hunter is a devoted husband and father of four. He is deeply involved in his faith and enjoys exploring Australia’s vast landscapes. His travels have taken him to many remote and iconic destinations – from the Kimberley and Gibb River Road to Fraser Island, Kakadu, Tasmania, the Simpson Desert and more than 40 crossings of the Nullarbor.
